You will be performing Home Energy Assessments and modeling data in energy efficiency software, diagnosing energy usage problems and recommending energy saving measures like LED lighting, insulation and high efficiency heating and cooling equipment. Primary Responsibilities

  • Customer Service: Help New York homeowners upgrade the efficiency of their home!
  • Outreach: Educate home owners on the benefits of energy efficiency improvements
  • Modeling: Use software to develop comprehensive reports of a home’s potential energy savings
  • Sales: Recommend LED lighting, insulation, and high efficiency heating and cooling upgrades
  • Account Management: Complete all necessary paperwork required by the NYSERDA and EmPower programs

Requirements

  • Must be outgoing, adaptable and personable!
  • Have a reliable vehicle to travel daily within assigned territory
  • Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the role
  • Willing crawl into small spaces and attics to preform audits
  • Comfortable going into dirty confined spaces. (attics, crawl spaces, etc.)
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills

Preferred Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • Previous customer service/sales/construction experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • BPI Building Analyst/Envelope Certifications a plus!

Compensation

  • Performance-based pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 + per year
